Fred was born in Taylor, Texas on the 7th May 1995. He attended Taylor High School, South Plains College and Texas A&M University.
He is the 2022 World 100m Champion and 2021 Olympic Games 100m silver medallist. He is the only man in history to have run sub 9.80 secs in the 100m, 19.80 secs in the 200m and 44.80 secs in the 400m.
